The Benefits of Practicing Meditation are Limitless

They include stress reduction and gently relaxing of the nervous system, which helps us calm our nerves and release muscle tension which helps relieve pain, even PMS pain. It decreases mood swings, increases creativity and awareness, improves sleep quality, and much more. With restful, good-quality sleep, we will need less sleep but will have more energy.

Meditation also aids in losing weight, and as you become more energized, you will be able to increase your physical activity. The body’s immunity will be increased as it boosts Serotonin, Endorphins, Dopamine, and Oxytocin.

Serotonin is released naturally when we are at peace and in harmony without thoughts.

Endorphins are produced by the central nervous system from various sources within the body.

Meditation, exercise, laughter, music, drawing, painting, crafting. Gardening and many other activities promote the production of Endorphins in the body because we are happy when doing those activities. Just doing more of what we love, anything that brings us joy enhances the production of Endorphins.

Dopamine plays an important role in the brain and body, and it is a reward system that can help lower blood pressure and lower heart rate. It is a natural chemical the brain produces and sends it out to the body from feeling satisfied.

Oxytocin is a powerful hormone in the brain. The love hormone is produced when we are in love, joyful, or feeling compassion and gratitude.

Meditation Strengthens Your Innate System

As our innate system becomes strengthened, it produces increased levels of super-antioxidants, preventing illness or speeding up healing, lowering blood pressure, lowering respiratory rates, causing better breathing, better circulation, contributing to having more patience and peace of mind, slowing down aging, and leading to increased longevity. Enhancing our immune system increases brain development, and willpower to beat addiction, and improves memory, self-confidence, and creativity.

This whole brain synchronization can even raise IQ by balancing the function of both sides of the brain. Both intellect and wisdom are synchronizing and integrating more harmoniously. This way, your wisdom is more available when you tap into it. When wisdom rises, it will increase our connection to our spirit and lead us to have greater power of introspection and an increase in empathy and allow us to have a broader and deeper perspective.

There is a change in attitude that will enhance our ability to let go and forgive. The ability to let go and forgive is something I feel that many people have a hard time doing. When we decide to forgive and commit to doing so, we get to set ourselves free from any burden of carrying baggage that weighs us down more and more every day.

Remember that when we can let go, we navigate through life a whole lot lighter, and when we forgive, we are doing it for ourselves. The primary purpose of forgiveness is to set us free from all the burdens and be free!

Meditation As a Daily Routine

These are only some of the benefits we can have directly from adapting meditation into our daily routine. This is one of my favorite guided meditations:

The quantum healing hypnosis work that I do is intensive because it helps people connect with the Higher Self to receive knowledge and to self-heal. It is most effective with the people who practice meditation because they already have the skill of tapping into the spiritual, creativity, wisdom, the divine knowledge from the right side of the brain. I suggest my clients to mediation regularly as a part of preparation before our session.

The highlight of practicing meditation that I wish to bring to your attention is that it will help you reconnect and stay connected with the Higher Self. So, enough reasons for you to want to mediate daily now?
